Lafferty at 14 weeks old
Lafferty was born December 20th, 1999, in San Rafael, CA. For his first 8 weeks, he lived at the campus of Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael. On February 23rd, he was flown to Utah and came here to Logan to live with me. Lafferty was intended to stay with me only for a little while, while I got him mostly housebroken, etc., so on April 15th, he went to live with his new family, the Thompsons, in Salt Lake. They will finish raising Lafferty until he is ready to go back to school for advanced training.
This is Lafferty just a few
hours after he arrived in Utah.

Lafferty, Tully and me the day he moved to his new family. He is such a good little guy I know they will have lots of fun raising him.
Here is a picture of Lafferty with his new mom Lisa (right) and his "sister" Cheyenne, and another shot of Lafferty with his new girls, Cheyenne and Hannah. He was enjoying their attention.
Hopefully Lafferty's new family will be passing on pictures occasionally and I'll be able to keep people up to date on his progress and growth. He is a sweet boy and I'm going to miss him!
