Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (National Institutes

- Established in
1998, the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine
(NCCAM) operates at NIH to support research for public benefit. A
section for consumers and practitioners provides fact sheets on a
broad range of therapies, many not regularly used in Western medicine,
