- Born and raised in Utah (Provo and Gunnison, respectively)
- Also lived in Arroyo Grande, California and Morges, Switzerland
- Used Quark XPress, back in my days at BYU, to publish Insight magazine as well as the winter 2007 issue of The American Forum, the journal of the American Studies department
- Initially planned to be an ESL teacher and taught students from China, Japan, India, Turkey, and Libya at Lemania College/Ecole Lémania in Lausanne, Switzerland
- Married a Swiss native (which explains
the French surname)
- Edited my husband’s 200-page 2005 master’s thesis in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, "USUSAT II Design for Flight as a Modular Platform"
- Currently teach "talented and gifted" writing class for 1st and 2nd graders,
